I was taught to make this with Brown sugar and use the whiskey to melt the sugar then add coffee and shaken heavy cream on top with some cinnamon and sugar for decoration lol idk this seems ok too though

Coffee with sugar or syrup and stir. Then float whiskey and then layer your cream.
