The cat is the ultimate terrestrial predator pound-for-pound, and the African Leopard is one of the deadliest of all the Big Cats.

Leopards are noted for their prowess at climbing and for their remarkable athleticism. To protect it from scavengers like lions and hyenas, they frequently transport food into trees. They have a high top speed of 36 mph (ca. 58 km/h).: Based on what I'm about to say, leopards are also excellent jumpers. This leopard, when it jumped off the tree, was unfazed by falling from a great height, so it's surprising that it didn't break any of its legs or bones. Cats have a unique evolutionary trait that gives them the ability to survive falls from great heights by landing on their legs. It's amazing how they can do this.
