RIP 😔⚰ vin scully. He was an icon and life will never be the same without him. I remember the Gibson homerun and him calling the hideo nomo no hitter in coors field. He will be missed. RIP 😔⚰

Man, his voice is so ingrained in so many happy memories that it brings me to tears. I am transported back to 88 when I hear him making the Gibby Homer call. Memories will live on and so will you Vinny.

I was not a Dodger fan and never was able to hear Vin Scully broadcast baseball in Los Angeles because of where I live here in this great country. There's something I have never been able to understand: why do great and incredible people have to die. My father passed away in 1999 and I'm not comparing my dad to Mr. Scully, but I'll never get it. Why does God allow this? People like this man should live forever. I am incredibly heartbroken tonight because to me the Golden Age of baseball lost its last treasure today. The only moment I'll remember from this year is this day and night. Baseball truly died for me today and it will not ever be the same. Not even close.
