CSS floats - layout rules - floats and collapsing margins

Lets see what happens when we float a paragraph between two paragraphs with collapsing margins. It would behave as if it was inserted into a block-level parent element between the two paragraphs. This doesn't allow the floated paragraph to move up and hit the top of the parent container.
