THANK YOU for talking about Harry Potter. I’m tired of being made you feel like a bad person for all just loving the books. Couldn’t care less about JKR, but Harry, Ron and Hermione will always remain close to my heart. Those books shaped who I am today, and it’s ok to love them.

I feel the same about all of Cassie's books. nothing will ever replace the shadowhunters chronicles for me. But my number one out of them will always be the infernal devices.
And I haven't read the toll either. i will though soon. This trilogy is one of my all time favorites.

Honestly I think the best way to engage with Harry Potter now is to only buy Rollings books second hand, buy fan-made merch like on Red Bubble or Etsy instead of official merch, and participate in the fandom community- subreddits, fan art, fan fiction. That way you can enjoy something you love but not support the author and not give her a dime of your coin!
