Jayce, so many people are manufacturing these shields and mislabeling them.

The pack I bought had the curved/cutout side labeled as “inward facing side” aka THE OPPOSITE of how you inserted yours.

I'ma design sneakershield that cover the whole toe box and foot with foam insulation, make them to wear they love with the foot, to promote movement and comfortability . I dunno but never got why they only make them to wear they come a little over halfway?

I bought from kicks shield which look identical to shoe shields. I got 3 pairs for 30 dollars. My biggest complaint is that neither company says which line is best to trim depending on which shoe size. It’s kinda up to the wearer to make the right decision

Why didn't you wear a protector in just one shoe and not in the other, of the same pair of shoes?

Seems like that would have given you the perfect control for this experiment. That way you don't have to worry about all the differences that come with 2 different pairs of shoes, along with making sure you're performing the same tasks (walking, hiking, running, etc...) You could then just view the pair of shoes after using them and easily view if they're really working or not.

The only downside to this is it might be a little annoying because one foot may feel a little different than the other on account there only being a single protector in.

But I would think it wouldn't feel that bad since you only have to wear it for only the length of the experiment.

if you want to get somewhat of an idea of how it is going to work, ball up your toes similar to a fist (do it really tight) and try walking, beware when doing this it may hurt a little but try to look at your shoes when you do it.

my creases happen at the tip of the toebox, because the protectors weren't high enough to conform at the tip. They also slide back and hit my toes

In 07 and they still are great in my Jordan 1s

Honestly I wear these in my Jordan 1 mids and I wore them quite a lot and I hardly have any creases on my shoe and the ones are probably the most easiest you can crease
