Top 10 Hip-Hop Cash Kings
In this video you may find the Top 10 Hip-Hop Cash Kings Inspiring where people feel most know...
#1. Diddy ($62 million)
Though he doesn’t earn much from music these days, Diddy makes up for it with an outrageously lucrative deal with Diageo's Ciroc vodka and other non-musical ventures. He can't shake the stage entirely: his Bad Boy Reunion Tour runs through the fall.
#2. Jay-Z ($53.5 million)
Though the multifaceted mogul didn't play many shows or release a new album during the past 12 months, he continued to cash in on a plethora of outside business ventures including his Roc Nation entertainment company, Armand de Brignac champagne and D'Ussé cognac.
#3. Dr. Dre ($41 million)
It’s been two years since he scored the highest single-year payday for any celebrity--$620 million, mostly from Apple's $3 billion Beats buyout--but Dre continues to pocket plenty of cash. He released his first album in over a decade and executive-produced NWA biopic
#4. Drake ($38.5 million)
The Canadian rapper had the best music sales of any hip-hop act--and of any musician not named Adele--thanks to new album. He padded his total with live shows and checks from Apple, Sprite and Nike.
#5. Wiz Khalifa ($24 million)
The Pittsburgh-born rapper had his best year yet, thanks to 70 shows and a healthy six-figure nightly average gross during our scoring period. His latest album, Khalifa, debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 in February.
#6. Nicki Minaj ($20.5 million)
The only female artist on the Cash Kings list retains her status thanks to tail end dates of The Pinkprint Tour and high-paying endorsements with the likes of MAC and K-Mart. She also owns a sizeable equity stake in Myx Fusions Moscato that pays out annually.
#7. Pitbull ($20 million)
Mr. 305 recorded his best ever annual total this year thanks to live shows far flung from his native Miami. He also endorses more brands than any other Cash King except Snoop Dogg, cashing checks from Playboy, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Voli Vodka, among others.
#8. Pharrell Williams ($19.5 million)
The superproducer cashed in on his last year as a judge on The Voice, but should have plenty of other income to make up for the lost paycheck in the coming year: he grosses more than half a million dollars per city on the road and has an extensive fashion resume.
#9. Kendrick Lamar ($18.5 million)
Hip-hop’s most celebrated thinker released Untitled Unmastered , which soared to the top of the charts in March despite a decidedly minimalist approach. Kendrick also cashed in on lucrative festival gigs and carefully-considered deals with Reebok and Calvin Klein. “All money ain’t good money,” he once told FORBES.
#10. Birdman ($18 million)
The “Still Fly” rapper doesn’t sell many records on his own these days, but his Cash Money empire continues to churn out profits. Fellow Cash Kings Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne remain on the label despite rumors of their pending departure, boosting Birdman’s bottom line.
