That’s a gorgeous snake. Also, I love that you guys don’t disturb the snakes whatsoever to get content, just let them go about their day. Keep it up!

There are some truly spectacular snakes/reptiles out there, and this one is simply stunning.
Nature is just too beautiful for words, and yet another wonderful video, very well done by the Living Zoology team!

Not too many snakes in Europe are particularly venomous but these guys are an exception

Beautiful snake. I know very little about European snakes, so what is their temperment and toxicity if you don't mind sharing?

He encontrado muchas veces a esta serpiente en el norte de España, en Asturias, donde teóricamente no habitaba, así como poblaciones de víbora cantábrica y víboras con ese patrón pero marrones que se camuflan con las acículas de los pinos.

Didn't realise that was your logo as well, very cool 😅 What made you choose it as the logo (over other snakes)?

Same feature as in rhino vipers. Why did it evolve? Is this convergent evolution or are they closely related? I've heard that there's no definitive answer why the rostral process evolved in rhino rat snakes.

Europe has snakes? Europe has venomous snakes?

Last year an 8 y. old boy was bitten be one and nearly died. So they can be fairly agressive I guess.

I enjoy your videos very much, despite I suffer from ophiophobia, sigh. It is irrational, as all psychic disorders are. Bit there's something interesting: there are two "kinds" of people: one with arachnophobia, one with ophiophobia. And, yes, some with none of those. But, having both is extremely rare, if ever documented, AFAIK. We share ophiophobia with our closest relatives, the chimpanzees, which can is understandable in Africa, the cradle of H. sapiens, but: where did arachnophobia come from? There are no deadly spiders in Africa, Europe and close surroundings, the famous "black widow" is deadly for children and elderly, or ill, poleople only. Australia is different, and believe me, I was frightened first couple of weeks, then I got used to it. So, thank you very much, I really appreciate that you do not disturb the animals, keep on, I hope many people will appreciate your work, as well as future generations of our grand (grand)children, who will live in concrete barracks... Watching TV, Amused to Death (maybe someone still knows and enjoys that music). Excellent quality camera, unbelievable. Good work! Thanks, sincerely, Peter.

I've just come back from Croatia.
I wasn't sure the best area's to search.
I stayed in Zadar and i had an early search above Starigrad, but no luck. Are they found very coastal?
