Have questions or want to check if we can help you?

Summary of this video:

2 years to citizenship:

Argentina - very popular, system is overloaded, so it usually takes longer
Peru - off the radar, best food in the World
Dominican Republic - even possible in 6 months with an investment into property

3 years to citizenship:

Armenia - not as liveable, some people love it
Honduras - too dangerous IMO, but Roatan is nice
Paraguay - in some cases 3, in some 5-7
Bolivia - not worth it, terrible passport and dangerous
Ecuador - obviously, I don't recommend

4 years to citizenship:

Brazil - heading down socialism
Nicaragua - dictatorship, don't recommend much

Now, if you are open to having a child in another country, then we have way more options:

Argentina and Brazil - both pretty much immediate for both child and parents
Mexico - 2 years, immediate permanent residency for parents, immediate citizenship for child
Colombia - 2 years, trickier option
Panama - 3 years, immediate citizenship for the child

There's also citizenship by marriage, but I don't recommend it, given the horrible downside of marrying the wrong person or for the wrong reasons.

I’m in Peru now going through the process and I can tell you it’s been an absolute nightmare.. 3 years into the process and I’m just now starting the process over again. The incompetence is astounding, the corruption rampant, every licensed professional I’ve worked with has just stolen my money. I did an update on my channel.. I do like Peru but the people are awful particularly here in Iquitos

Serbia is also 3 years now. You get a temporary residence permit, which for several causes lasts exactly 3 years. After 3 years you can apply for a permanent residence permit, and immediately afterwards - for citizenship. You'd have to give up your other citizenship, though, unless you have Serb ancestors.

Getting the Visa to live in a different country is a nightmare. And hiring immigration lawyers is so expensive

What are the best countries for business investors or real estate investors?

Thanks for the detailed information about Argentina. That helps make the decision more clear.

You mentioned Cuba, but I didn't catch any details. I am also curious about your thoughts on Venezuela. Real estate prices there can be very interesting for a small long term allocation. Can you make a similar video explaining what countries do not require full time residency to achieve the citizenship? Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I'm surprised you didn't notice Serbia. There you can become a citizen in 3 years and their passport is quite strong

Yeah because after I graduate from chef's school Canada's looking like it's not that great to live here. We have a cost of living crisis and I was born and raised here but I know a lot of my friends are considering either leaving for Europe or South America

Question for the folks, which country mentioned in this video doesn't require the full-time residence in order to capture the passport?

Why didn't you mention Uruguay? It is also possible to get citizenship within 3 years after giving birth, plus it is a relatively livible country (the highest or the second highest GDP per capita in South America) and a safe country.

Dominican Republic. You say by living there for two years they will give you residency? What about requirements and Visa to stay in the country for 2 years...Is your firm able to expedite papers and other matters for DR? Gracias Rafael.

Never ever get citizenship in a country that does not permit renouncing that citizenship, like Argentina.
Once you're in, you can never get out, regardless of what happens in that country. You're trapped for life.
