they sound so little but when there's so many sounding during the silent late winter the whole mountain has the same faint sound and you can hear them as if they were right behind you but they're actually many hundreds of meters away and when you get to the place it is so deafening you can't even hear the wolves stepping on dry leaves about to hunt you down.

Never seen one making sounds on a man's hand before. They usually only make sounds inside of their specially made "acoustic" horn shaped burrows that amplifies their sounds a lot.

I’ve heard this before. I used to think it was a frog but a got a Jerusalem cricket so I searched it up and found this. Great video!

We found one at night in Manoa, Hawaii. It made no noise, and walked around on the concrete in the lit carport. We ushered it back to the grass, and it disappeared into the bushes. No mates for you at our party.

I read about the mole cricket in the 4th grade. A fascinating creature only, I thought it was fake cause there was only a painting of it. It was still the 1980's.

I heard this and I thought it was a bufo bufo (common toad), so I looked where I heard it and I didnt see anything and that brought me here and i confirm that this is the sound I hear at night

Hate these dudes, they eat up the roots of anything we try to grow in our garden :( We found planting the plant into a bottle stuck into the ground helps

Does it sting? I read lots of people who got stung and they all told that it hurts and some said that their wound got infected and necrotized
