My first visit to France driving my motorhome adventure around Northern France and the Loire Valley in 12 days. This short travel vlog shows you the amazing cultural city of Blois and the famous Chateau de Chenonceau - definitely one for the itinerary if you are spending your time looking around the wonderful castles of the Loire Valley.

Previous places visited so far in this adventure include Le Crotoy, Chartres, Marboue, Chateaudun, and Chateau de Chambord. I've stayed on a range of aires, municipal sites, and ACSI campsites.

Why watch me?

The last few years have been tough for us all, and after losing both my mum and more recently my grandma (who was not only my adventurous inspiration but also my travel buddy) I've had a real personal struggle with long bouts of depression and anxiety....but those who know me, know what works and that is the traveling and getting out in the fresh air. During this time, I never stopped to consider those perimenopausal symptoms may have also contributed to this, so I've taken the plunge and bought my motorhome Elaine and this is my vlog to capture my journey, through good times, bad and sad times. I'll take you go-karting down a mountain in Snowdonia, on nostalgic visits to our favourite childhood museums, castles, coasts, and historic areas of interest, bodyboarding and biking, something for everyone! I hope to be able to encourage other women to get out there and have a go!
