Thank you Ted. You are one of the most sensible advisors I’ve heard in the business. And you’re right about the proliferation of “wealth advisors”. I’m not currently in stocks because frankly the market scares the heck out of me for a number of reasons. Probably because I’ve lived through down markets through the past four decades. As well as stock buy backs and passive investing, which I feel artificially impact pricing considerably. The only way for people to take profits is to eventually sell. The tipping point can’t be far away.

I have to agree that the remainder of 2024 looks like it could be unusually eventful. Your comments are helpful as they seem to validate my investment prudence. Thank you Ted. Love your tone and knowledge/wisdom. This presentation gives me some confidence in what I’m doing. I control about 35% of our invested assets biased to the out of favor assets you mention, multiple pm’s/oil service and oil with dividends/pm miners etc…/various shipping/oil & gas/uranium. This is offset by our advisor who has a lot of the mainstream investments you mention but monitors yield curves, trades some to reduce risk and participates in bonds very similar to how you described. Good explanation of how the money flows may occur over the next 1-5 years. You may agree that you want to be right with the market but what those market conditions will mean for most Americans is sobering.

How long do you think the US can continue down the road of spending + inflation before something breaks? It's obvious that neither candidates will default or do massive cuts... so I wonder how long this whole scheme is gonna last, kind of worried as the US is my #1 market where I sell goods.
