It is a common concern over the internet, as to why Sanskrit names change when narrated in English.
Here's the actual explanation :
1) Because every language, when adopting words from Sanskrit, makes some modifications to it. This gives consistent feel of pronouncing other words in the language.
For example : In Hindi : rAmah -> rAm
shlOkah -> shlOk
In Telugu : rAmah -> RAmudu
shlokah -> shlOkamu
In Tamil : rAmah -> rAman
shlOkah -> shlOkam
2) Calling these changed forms, as wrong, would be to not have an understanding of the language being used.
3) The real malicious distortion of names, is when the gangA is called as the ganges, or when Thiruvanathapuram is called Trivandrum.

I hope this clears things up.

The various strotas by Aadi Shankaracharya shows his grandeur and godliness. Also his mastery over Sanskrit.

Superb scaffolding of knowledge of our own culture, Sanatan Dharma. Now things are getting clear in mind that when I chant Aum, so what I am exactly doing. When I recite Atha Shri Devi Suktam, what I am reciting, when I read Gurucharitra or Dnyaneshwari, Dasbodh (another scripts as we Maharashtrian swear by it :-) ), so exactly what I am reading.
Thanks buddy and team for your creativity. This channel is blessing of wisdom to all viewers.
Namaste and Aum Shanti.
