I feel like if you do the opposite it would be interesting. What I mean is to do countries within a league format. For example if you use the english leagues, instead of the teams, you use national teams. It would he interesting to see the result after a few years.

Nice idea! Maybe its also fun if you almost do the same but only choose players that are from the same country as their club/league. Example: in the Prem, pick the best English players that play in the Prem (so no Kane, Bellingham etc). Also the best boot players: Team Puma vs Team Nike with every brand in the game and then a tournament! Good luck! 👌🏼
