We had a bed in our nursery and we loved it because we ended up doing sleep shifts where my husband would take care of my son from 7pm to 2am and then I would be on for 2am to 8am. Our son was really loud so while my son slept in his room, someone who was on shift could take care of them while the other partner had a quiet room to sleep. It was a very nice trade off

With a baby, the days go by slowly but the years go by quickly. You’ll see how very fast he grows so enjoy every single minute. Every now and then I’ll watch the video you posted when you and Romeo found out you were pregnant, and I ALWAYS cry tears of happiness with you. Rarely in this world do we get to witness moments of profound joy and I’m so grateful you shared it with us. Those stress tests saved me and my son. I had them done every week my third trimester, and some women think they are pointless but they are definitely not. I was at 36 weeks pregnant, and my doctor told me to go to labor and delivery soon after my stress test because I was having contractions every 2 mins. I felt no pain. My son was breeched since 30 weeks. They were able to slow my contractions down, and I was able to make it to 39 weeks. So, yes, stress tests are life savers!

My youngest has a birthday tomorrow. She will be 41!!! I can't believe I am so old. But I remember all three of my babies births and what a special time that was in my life. She was about 45 minutes of labor and delivery. Pretty quick. My oldest was a little over 6 hours and I wondered how women went through hell like that. Ha ha! I didn't realize how easy I had it. My second was a little over 2 hours. They are 45, 43 and 41. They were such sweet and beautiful babies, funny and fun little kids and smart, productive adults. Enjoy every moment. Happy and fun times are just beginning for you! Much love you all from a little, old lady.

Women are tough! I worked as floor nurse til day before my first child’s delivery! Hes 44. No ultrasounds then but he was born on his due date!
