Many farmers in my area run older tractors. I have a 1989, 1990, 2004 models. All paid for. It’s really nice when you can run your tractor all season and only have to spend money on regular maintenance and diesel.

In 1958 dad bought a mounted 4 row planter and cultivator. In about 1972 he went to a 6 row planter and cultivator.

Letting the tax man make the decision that you need to give your money away is not good business . That is the problem with most in agriculture today they end up giving there money to everyone else instead of keeping it for themselves to use.
