Audi? Porsche? Andretti? Someone else? There’s plenty of candidates as F1 is getting a lot of interest from manufacturers…

Who would you like to see on the F1 grid and why?

If Audi or Porsche do enter I'd much rather them operate out of Germany with and all new team and not partner with an existing team.
I'd love to have new teams in F1 and for the sport to grow as a whole, with less races in oil rich deserts and more in new countries to help grow the sport.

As an American who LOVES F1. Seeing the constant flood of new awareness that's coming to the states about the sport is amazing! As long as it doesn't turn into one of those "Merica" type teams. I'm all for it.

Imagine the pain if all three join.
Monaco with 26 cars would be a nightmare

Porsche is in serious talks with RB and it seems like they will come in as an engine developer. Audi and Andretti will be 2 new teams so four new cars will add to the excitement. I am all for it even in Porsche comes in as a fully fledged team.

Andretti! I hope that the others don't turn Mario and Michael down

Would be great to have the German car manufacturers living their rivalry on the circuit... Mercedes, Audi, Porsche...

Great idea, imagine the competition with 3-4 teams competing for the top instead of just 2 teams vying for the top spot!

As an AMERICAN…I love the new energy driving interest here… what absolutely doesn’t need to happen is for the FIA and the other governing bodies to try and transform what F1 is to bring in new fans….

More teams=more cars=more entertainment
(At least in my opinion)

As a Red Bull fan and big Porsche guy I would love to see Porsche supply engines for them

More teams means the money gets split to more teams so each team gets slightly less than the current.
I kinda understand the view from the principals standpoint.

I was under the impression that Andretti, logically, would base their F1 team in the UK. After all, why would you base a team in the USA when the majority of races are in Europe and the Middle East, and there's very limited F1-experienced potential staff based in the USA?

Weird idea: Andretti should team up with HAAS, buy 50%. HAAS has some facilities in the US, continue to leverage the Ferrari relationship and build a bigger engineering aspect in the US, this way they can avoid the 200 mil and save that instead to reinvest into moving the team up the grid.

I'd love to see 13 teams on the grid, even though maybe that would require a bit of a overhaul of the points and quali systems (Q1 with 26 cars sounds like a nightmare honestly), but realistically it's probably not gonna happen, Porsche is set to partner with RB to handle he hybrid part of the PU and Audi wants to buy out an existing team to get their own (and it's probably gonna be either AM, since Stroll said he's willing to sell, or WIlliams), Andretti i probably not gonna be allowed to join unless profits from F1 go up enough, sure it'll bring in even more momentum with the blooming US market but right now i can see why other teams don't want to share the pie with ever increasing logistics costs and massive inflation (and a recession on the horizon), he'll probably have to wait until 2026 to have a chance

I can't wait to see more teams on the grid

I would have to say that the Andretti team would be one of the best things to happen to f1 in recent times. Imagine how many more active American fans would be attracted

I think if we return to a 26 car grid, the points system should change... Not a huge amount but the bottom teams need something to fight for. Maybe top 12 or top 16 or something so there would still need to be a lot of retirements for other teams for back markers to score points but makes more of the drivers come away from a weekend not being pointless.
