“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. John 3:16–18 ESV

Believe: πιστεύω (pisteuō)
1. to believe, put one's faith in, trust, with an implication that actions based on that trust will follow; to place confidence in
2. used in the NT of the conviction and trust to which a man is impelled by a certain inner and higher prerogative and law of soul
3. to trust in Jesus or God as able to aid either in obtaining or in doing something: saving faith

RESTORATION MOVEMENT
- No creed but Christ
- No book but the Bible
- No name but the Divine

Believe leads to life change
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14–16 ESV
