Respect to F1 for posting this only after knowing that Pourchaire and Enzo are alright

The amount of maturity Piastri has shown this weekend is remarkable. Truly a shame we won't see him next year in F1. Glad to hear all involved in these crashes are alright. I know this track is not here to stay, but even so, they should have made it safer.

The fact that the F2 cars are still stalling on the grid is just unacceptable. It's so dangerous and it paints a really unprofessional picture of the sport to have cars flying by at hundreds of kph while someone is just stranded in their grid box.

All the concerns that everyone voiced about the safety of this track seemed to have been completely accurate. Idk how this was deemed safe, much less practical. You have a track that invites accidents and requires red flagging the session basic every time once their is one.

its a bad track. with everything being enclosed by the walls and no runs off this is bound to happen. also overtaking aside from straights is suicidal. given how competitive everyone is one of the cars has to "accept" defeat and let other car go but nobody gonna give up easily. with open areas we see pushing someone off the track into grass/gravel but since there are none here its crash upon crash upon crash upon crash. while its new track I guess everyone took their shots. but I am seeing this as being monaco v2. either do it on the straight or sit tight behind for next opportunity

really a testament to the strength and safety of modern formula cars that after a 72G crash, one that would be without a doubt considered un-survivable 10/20 years ago, he got away with only a broken heel and some cuts and bruises and is expecting a full recovery

This circuit is really bad for racing, there were never so many red flags on a single race weekend. It might be fun to drive, but if the track is so narrow they need to get out the red flag everytime a car is stranded, I believe they should make changes so that the cars don't block the whole track when crashing out. Glad to hear that no one is seriously injured at least

Hope to see Piastri on the Alpine seat in 2023, he deserves it

This track is incredibly dangerous and it’s been proven with all the crashes in F2 and F1. This track needs to go or at least made safer for the drivers

Yeah, I think that Formula racing should not return to this track until massive improvements are made to make it safer. This track is far too dangerous to race on as it stands.

Wish Piastri and Shwartzman both got the spot in the F1 next year :/

Blame the track as much as you want, but the actual cause of this are because of stalling, this is why i will never understand why junior feeder series doesn't have anti-stall when F1 have it, it's awfully dangerous.

Nice that they didn't post this video until they knew both drivers were okay.

Piastri, the most deserving driver in F2 that hasn't been given a drive.
