Since the end of WWII, there has not been a single war between big powerful nations. The military dominance of US was challenged by USSR leading to the formation of NATO. But USSR was not challenging US' economic dominance. After the collapse of USSR, US was enjoying its dominance in both military and economic unchallenged, until the emergence of China. Who challenges US on all fronts, from technology, military, space program, economic, monetary, day-to-day consumer goods, etc. Namely, almost all aspects of modern time. After saying all that, I would like to conclude that the Taiwan war is not actually about Taiwan at all, but it's about the dominance in global power. The real one, it's not like the one during the Soviet's era. China is very careful in handling this situation, as any careless move could set back the human civilization by centuries.

Life is rough being an American ngl. Is this what? 100 billion the government has already given to Ukraine so far? I doubt we actually gave the amount that was pledged. It's more like 40% goes to American lawmaker's pocket and 60% goes to Ukraine. All that taken out of hard working American tax payers who are struggling to make ends meet. How can you not feel sorry for Americans who has to sacrifice 37% of their wage cheque every week so it can go into lawmaker's pockets and a war that could have easily been prevented with a simple agreement not to move NATO troop's so close to their borders.

With record high inflations and a collapsed economy, Americans are already struggling to pay for food, gas, bills, rent, healthcare and yet the government wants to take 37% of their wage every week?

Over 100, 000 Americans die each year from fentanyl overdose. Due to how unaffordable health care is and with no help at all from the government. These people are forced to find other means of relieving their pain from their illnesses, and unfortunately for many who can't afford treatment are rotting in the streets like zombies just waiting for their time to come. How about the American government use some of that money to build some hospital and lower the cost of healthcare so people can afford it. It's for your own people ffs.

The so called civil war ended when China declared its independence from Taiwan in 1949, it is exactly like when the USA declared its independence from the UK in 1776, now imagine the USA declaring the UK belongs the USA, that is how ridiculous it sounds to the Taiwanese.
