S&W Bodyguard or Beretta Pico?

So true story, I open up a club in Atlanta around 4 am. The first step is to unlock a swing gate to allow cars in. I got out of my car to unlock the gate and an SUV pulled up, blocking me between the still locked gate and the SUV. The driver was holding a Glock of some kind with an extended mag and there were 2 other guys in the car, one jumped out to try and get into my car and the other stayed in the passenger seat.

I had a subcompact on me with a 6+1 capacity...I maneuvered myself to the driver's blindside and "negotiated" my way out of the encounter. If it had come to shots fired I would've lost. I sold that gun the next week and got a compact pistol with a 14 round capacity (CZ 2075)

I will never carry a gun with such a small capacity again unless I'm in a non permissive environment and basically breaking the law to stay strapped.

It used to be 3 shots at 3 yards in 3 seconds or less for a defensive gun use but it seems that criminals are travelling in packs again. You need a decent caliber with a decent capacity now.

If I'm buying a gun today I would pick neither. Those are a generation behind. Tough triggers and low capacity.

Bodygaurd all day everyday…. Perfect backup conceal carry…. Pico can barely hold it hate where the magazine release is like it’s very easy to accidentally release the mag

Had a bodyguard 380 got rid of it because as dry firing when I first got it was looking and paying attention to the hammer and it was Striking or dragging/ rubbing again the right side of the slide if I remember correctly but long story short the hammer would ride against the slide you can see it when you pull trigger and I looked it up I guess I’m not the only person who has that problem it will cause light primer strikes just saying don’t trust your life with something wba problem like that and I heard most of the gunsmiths won’t even work on tiny guns like that

Bodyguard is a plastic throwaway pistol. Rude and crude. It'll work 100% but it sucks to manipulate in all manners 🤙
