Great White Throne Judgment | Forecast | Jeff Griffin (Full Service)

Показать описание
During Week 3 of Forecast, we dive into Revelation 20:11-15, discussing the "Great White Throne
judgment" where all, regardless of status, face judgment. Jeff discusses the inevitability of this judgment and the division between believers and non-believers. Jeff explains the significance of the Lamb's Book of Life, highlighting that eternal life is granted through faith in Jesus Christ, not by good deeds. He concludes by stressing the importance of ensuring one's name is in the Lamb's Book of Life for the assurance of eternal life with God.
Just as the weather forecast anticipates what’s in the days ahead, the Bible predicts six remarkable events that will soon come. As we study these prophecies in this teaching series, we will leave with anticipation and hope for the future.
Revelation 20:11-15 (NIV)
Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
