Steph, could all of those cut up clothes (not the shredded ones today) be given to quilter groups? Material can get expensive. Some quilters specialize in scrap quilts and use even postage size pieces. There's an old saying in the Ozarks: Use it up, wear it out. Make it do, or do without.

It seems to me that there should be a way for retailers to tag or mark their clothing so they can donate it instead of cutting it up and ruining it. There are people all over the world that could use the clothing instead of trashing it and throwing it out. It really angers me to see the amount of waste we produce every day. Cut/remove the Buttons from tops that you can't sell or donate collect them then sell or donate the buttons. All of us who sew or craft love buying buttons
