Hey man I have a PNG version of my logo which is the one in my image, however when I do the first step in saber yours is a circle of light while mine seems to still have the original "square" background even though it is transparent. Do you know how to remove that? Is there a way to make the background in photoshop or illustrator hug the image and not have the excess png square sections?

When I add my logo, autotrace and add Saber, the Saber effect doesn't fill out the whole composition. Anyone know why that is?

Technically, to do this with the title I don't think you have to do the "create masks from text" part. Just change the Core Type in Saber to be Text Layer.
