as i drove down the road i heard the unmistakeable sound of Ravens, lots of them and they sounded like there was problem.
when i got out of the car i saw close to a dozen birds, all going off.
there were 2 dead ravens on the verge, these birds live in communal groups, like humans.
unfortunately some people dislike these birds but tolerate them then theres the REAL arseholes that go one step further and lay baits out.

We lived in 3 story 40s brick appment in Sidney.
Disused rubbish chute down to incinerator.
Raven fell down as we were leave for work.
Thrashing around in 50 year old cinders.
My twin and I got door off pulled it out .
Holding it by legs took it out side.
I swear it was calm as put it on low wall and it turned around and said "fuck" clear as a bell .
Flew off but would come and sit on fence whenever we had a BBQ.
Over the years it would sit on back of our chair but no one else.
Bought it's young around then owner has someone trap them ☹️

Its sad that the people poisoned the ravens, even though they are pests. They still have a bird family To care for. This is just deppressing

Theres an old Native american saying:

Respect a raven and earn its trust, you have friends for life.

Disrespect a single raven and you have the whole flock after you for generations.

Never disrespect a raven because they will tell their flock about you and yes, they can identify a person. You will have enemies for life and even future generations of ravens will know about you.

But if you befriend a raven you will have no greater friend.

I wish people would just leave them alone, and do their research. They get hit by cars a lot here, and all the ravens gather around their friend and have a little funeral. It’s so sad.

Raven's are beautiful birds and they don't deserve to get poisoned it's just not fair they have families and feelings.

Horrible people! I once found a raven that had obviously been raised by a person and then set free for some reason. When I saw it and saw how friendly he was with people I ended up taking him home with me as a pet for my children. (the reason for this was because he was hanging around an assisted living facility where I worked and was scaring the residents, so I felt it best to rehome him) Although he continued to live outside, he came to our house on a daily basis to be fed and to get some loving attention from the children. These birds are very intelligent and in my opinion harmless. If you're going around poisoning Birds just because they pooped on your car, what kind of person does that make you?! 😠

i littarly just subscribed yesterday because a video of you feeding a bird poped up in my recommendations on the bird matter I used to have a bird (pretty sure it was a crow) that followed me to school never really sure why but one day I noticed it wasn't there I found it in a parking lot with a hole going straight through him I'm still pretty sure some ass hole shot it
