In this video, I share the blooms of a few different Oncidiums that are currently blooming in my orchid garden. I show a NoID yellow Oncidium, Oncidium spacelatum, Brassidium Kenneth Bivin, and Oncidium Sharry Baby, which I bought as the Chocolate Orchid.

Oncidiums are my favorite orchids. I have about 20 at home. Great plants. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Your oncidium are huge! Very beautiful flowers! The only oncidium type I have in spike right now is my Howeara Lava Burst! Hoping the rest follow suit!

Cross the sharry baby with the sphacelatum see what happens.
I hear stories about sphacelatum getting massive too, also it is sometimes it does have a light scent too. I suspect the usual factors in why and why they aren't fragrant at times.

I'm surprised you don't get crinkled leaves. I live in jax and have to keep mine very moist to keep them happy. I only have a few oncidiums, perhaps it's just the varieties I have. Sherry baby is particularly sensitive to dry periods for me.

Thanks for the video. Which is the best medium for oncidiums. The roots are thin compared others . When i tried 100% LECA they did not do well. When i shifted to 50: 50 Charcoal and coco chips they are doing well.
