This whimsical desert landscape was created using just a few art supplies. It’s not necessary to use the same materials I used, but using similar colors and brushes will make the process easier for you. The techniques used in this process are simple and could easily be applied at the beginner level.

Here’s a list of what I used:

*Canson watercolor paper (140 lbs)
*water
*paper towels
*3/4 inch artist tape
*MYARTSCAPE number 7 round brush
*Royal & Langnickle LG round brush
*watercolor paints in the following colors - phtalo blue, magenta, orange, yellow and light red
*Black Posca pen - 0.9 - 1.3 mm

The background music is from the YouTube Audio Library. I created my thumbnail for this video using Canva.

My video was shot using my iPhone 12 and the video editing was done on iMovie.
