I think we all know what needs to be done deep down, but having someone to remind us and give that extra push once in a while is really helpful.

Ruri is absolutely killing it with her videos! She's not only talented, but also incredibly tough and determined. I have no doubt that she will continue to do great things in life. Keep shining, Ruri! You're an inspiration to us all.❤

I’m 6 months I’ll be back!! I’m an unemployed post grad, feeling stuck, and honestly a bit depressed for the first time in my life. Today, I commit to 6 months. I will be back, and I will tell everyone how I’ve changed. Someone else commented this, so I’m doing it too.
Work, exercise, sleep, sunlight, goals, gratitude, the full job lot!

Edit 1: 2 weeks in and I’m employed in my dream job 💞

The way you described your family issues about poverty and how you are doing now is one of the biggest comeback in itself, W ruri as Always

I have felt depressed about my life lately, and I keep thinking about wanting to change my life. Your video is literally the answer, and I'm so thankful that you made this video. I can totally relate to what you described, feeling hopeless and not having motivation. I'm going to work hard to prioritize my health and well-being. Thank you for your genuine advice and for being realistic. I admire your mindset and determination. Thank you for your hard work, Ruri! You are amazing, and I'm so glad that you exist. I hope I have an opportunity to meet you one day.

There's a lot of improvements in the way Ruri makes her vid. Here are some of the things i noticed.
1. It started immediately!
2. More B rolls.
3. Improved Jcuts for seamless connection.
4. Ruri's A-roll being shown on stock videos that isn't her.
5. B-roll quality improving. It always match what's being said. So much b roll super engaging!
6. Wiggle positions in graphics for constant engagement
7. No gaps in speaking.
8. Zooming in, crops and constant change on a-roll for seamless vid.
9. I like the skew effect on article makes it more interactive.

Potential improvement:
-experiment with sound design on animation
-On showing articles zoom it in highlighting what Ruri sighted
-Experiment with Chapters Youtube feature and segment sponsor and headline like the monk mode 10 listicles and etc. (also when there's sponsor add a yellow loading line below or above so user have idea when it's done.)

Well done Ruri!. 🙏 Also well done editor if it's someone else.

Another amazing, well thought-out and comprehensive practical video. Thanks, Ruri. I, too, have ADHD and overcame (meds helped then) depression over family stuff. You are helping more people of all ages than you realize. Glad you're over a million subsceribers, too. Bless you!

Damn, this is so simple but yet so hard, but it is worth it. When you're talking about your family situation I totally empathize and I also need a bigger comeback in my life!
Thank you Ruri for always killing it and for your hard work for us !!

Love your content, def in the monk mode at this point in my life. Lost my job, got cheated on, injured my neck was downer than down. But crawling up is the best feeling, because it's only up to you, ain't nobody gonna help you but you. Loved this video. 👊🏾

My gripe with videos like this is that you never hear from the people who did all of this work just like she says, but still didn't get their life together. People are lucky if they find the missing piece in their life from watching self improvement content on Youtube. It's not that easy for everyone and working hard isn't always enough because sometimes you need professional help. Finding the proper care that you need can also be very difficult depending on your economic situation. That said, hard work and determination is at the root of it all. I've been doing it for the last 7 years or so and only the last year or so i feel like im starting to see the light. So it took 6 years of feeling like i was every day trying to fix my life but not getting anywhere at all. Ive given up so many times only to get back up again. It has to be like a compulsion to always get back up even if there seems to be no point.
