The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 is a supersonic jet fighter and interceptor aircraft, designed by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau in the Soviet Union.
It is still flown by around 17 air forces in Africa and Asia. But in the land of its birth, it was buried. Russia does not have a single MiG-21 that is airworthy.

It's crazy how we have planes that can get faster than sound itself.

In terms of time in service, this is the only fighter jet that can give the F-4 a run for its money in longevity. The F-4 should in fact be the #2 to this plane, unless I'm missing something. This specimen is looking very Sovietish with the big red number and the blue-and-gray camo combo. Most of the identifying marks are gone but based on what we've got left, it looks like a European operator. I'll guess East Germany or nearby.
