The people commenting about how this is glorifying women cutting their breasts off because they feel like it due to a small chance of cancer are seriously sick in the head. Idk why they said it was 40% chance in this video, it’s not, it’s 80% chance in my case and others as well. Im not good with living all my life wondering when that 80% chance will mean, yes you now have cancer. I’d rather lower that risk with surgery and not have to deal with getting sick at all and then having to do surgery anyways. There’s nothing glorious about that decision or the recovery that will take place.

Getting cancer if you are BRCA1 is highly likely. I have it and have developed cancer and so did my mum, grandma and great grandma

She didn't have cancer so pls stop glorifying her, she just had surgery and got implants. Actually having and going through cancer and beating it, THAT is heroic. The mental anguish of this journey is inhumane and not comparable to simply having a preventative surgery.

So  women  are  having  their  breasts  removed  when   they  are  healthy  women  with  no  cancer  is just  wrong and  sad.
