How to increase size of root(/) partition in linux after Installing

Excellent video. Just a comment because I had to suffer a lot because I am a beginner and did not know few things that the youtuber assumed people know.

First, you need to press buttons like esc, f8, f10, f12 at the time of booting to see option to boot through the live USB. I did not know this, and suffered a lot.

Next, you can get error during live booting, like

error: bad shim signature
error: you need to load the kernel first

This just means that you need to disable secure boot on your computer. Chatgpt it.

Next, when you open pop OS, you do not need to complete the full installation setup, like setting up language etc. Just open Gparted and do the job and restart.

I had a swap partition which was unmovable, so I decided to use Gparted for the moving and resizing part (After already making some unallocated space using diskmgmt). I turned the swap off, and moved the partition just like in your guide (just now I'm using Gparted), and the program crashed in the extending part of the root partition. Decided to just wipe the disk and continue the installation of the distribution I used Gparted from for now :/

Can I directly use Gparted via bootable usb instead of Pop os after making unallocated space using Windows Disk Management Or would there be any issue if I do this way?

I am not able to move the partition as SWAP partition is coming between unallocated space and linux root space, what to do ?

Man why u do this, 3 days ago i was low on space and then i thought it was time to switch from ubuntu to zorin os because of storage issue i also had 30 gb space which was all used, i removed ubuntu and tried installing zorin and my laptop said nah and my window bootloader got deleted and i was stuck on grub bootloader and even zorin os was not booting and i had to reinstall windows and loose all my data.
