Help ! Badly bruised ankle inner and outer....a week after a badly strained knee incident...possible popleteus injury....was focussing on the awful knee....then a week later..ankle and back of ankle started playing up....is that from spraining my knee ..or have I inadvertently damaged my ankle same time..and only now seeing the result? Be very grateful for any advice. I can walk on it...but from sitting..or resting..when I stand..back of ankle seems stiff and really pulls for about five minutes .

How to combine Running and Lifting weights? I am running 3x 1 hour per week (intervall, long run, stairs) and 3x 1 hour lifting weights. What can I do to recover better, provide injuries and progress over months? How to get in some light aerobic training - easy biking? When to take a break? I train in the morning, am 55, female. Looking after tendons post menopause. I am enjoying training towards hybrid games and races such as ATHX, Hyrox, Deka, Deadly Dozen etc and at approaching 60 and only recently on HRT my tendons are often not happy. I train because I wish to age well, stay savage and never shuffle.
So yes, all stage menopause tendon care.

Dog agility is my favorite sport. There is a lot of acceleration, turning and changing direction. I am pretty much recovered from a hamstring injury but would love some help bridging the gap between the exercises to strengthen the hamstring and returning to running, sprinting, direction change etc.

Videos on workouts we can do to maintain general fitness while recovering from an injury. For example if you have an injury in a lower limb you can’t do the exercises you normally would but may still want to maintain or improve general fitness.

Love your videos! Wanted to sign up with you online for PT for a shoulder issue!.. but you have no availability? Regarding your question, one thing I have is hip dysplasia, along with low back hyper flexibility and hamstring hyper flexibility. The hip dysplasia may have been congenital or maybe developed from my yoga, dance, pilates and running activities, not sure. What are the best exercises to create hip stability? and any tips on what to avoid would be great.

Also as a side note, due to the lower body hyper mobility my upper and middle back are extremely tight. Is there a name for this entire complex, taking into account how the upper and lower body are interacting?

When can I start to begin to walk after a hamstring tear, highgrade 2 ?

Do continue to rest after 10 days or must I start standing, .walking?

I have been non weight bearing since my fall but have improved so much.

I don't want to do the wrong thing and hamper my healing.

Would you consider chatting about that?

Any suggestions for how to make strength training both effective AND enjoyable? I love running, but I have enormous trouble motivating myself to do absolutely anything else even though my core and upper body strength is really sub-par and NEEDS work. Routines, tips, and strategies for doing them regularly and sticking to them long-term would be extremely welcome!
Love your channel, by the way. It saved my bacon a few times when I couldn't get to a physio during lockdown. And I find the South African colouring in your speech really relaxing -- I grew up there and it makes me kinda nostalgic these days. :)
