I stumbled upon the story and read some of it, then I saw the plane and was like "ok, a fake story. (Cuz how would a plane end up like that in a solid piece of ice and on top of that still be recognizable as an aircraft?) But let's see where it leads."
I couldn't bring myself to read it to the end because the constant "but what did they find inside?", "you won't believe what they found!", "they saw something attrocious... Anyway, some time before that..." got so incredibly annoying.

The usb drive was not invented in the time period this happened was also a giveaway.

don't bother - this story is pure clickbait. No reporter would write a story and not give the location. It's also funny how they keep referring to Dr Landon in every other sentence without ever giving his first name. None of the other people in the story even have a name. I only clicked on this story because I recently read "Frozen In Time" about the US military plane that crashed in Greenland during WW II.
