Everything I ate in ROVINJ, CROATIA

ACCOMMODATION:
DRINK:
A lovely shop nestled in Old Town offering Rakija and Gin. You are welcome to taste different flavors. We purchased their Sage and Mistletoe Rakija!
We happened to find this shop on its opening night and they invited us in to taste their Rakija. What a fun experience this was and we took home a bottle of Apricot Rakija and Istrian Smoked Ham. Along with Rakija, they offer locally produced provisions such as smoked ham, fruit preserves, and olive oil.
EATS:
This is an outstanding fast-casual restaurant offering fish sandwiches, fish baskets, and gf fish bowls. We had the following items over two visits, and I 100% recommend all of these choices:
HOT TUNA HEDONIST SANDWICH
SHARK BURGER SARDINES MAXIMUS BASKET
Immersed within the narrow streets of old town, you can grab venetian tapas here. We had the Prošut, Boškarin, and Anchovy varieties. And a glass of San Servolo beer from Central Istria. You'll find this is the perfect snack to keep you going through your busy day of sightseeing!
Our visit to Rovinj would not be complete without oysters. This flat European oyster variety is a real treat and the mineral briny flavor is thirst quenching on a hot sunny day, looking out onto the Adriatic Sea. Snack bar Rio was recommended by many food blogs and it did not disappoint.
KONOBA JURE - At Jure we had the opportunity to enjoy a classic Croatian dish, Mixed Seashells Buzara. Fresh shells swimming in a delectable white sauce similar to a scampi sauce, with less butter, but equally bursting with flavor and rounded off the meal with a hearty Cuttlefish Goulash.
