Welcome to day 17 of the 30 Day Improvers Yoga Challenge. Today we have a 30 minute yoga flow for the lower body focusing on the hips and hamstrings.

In this class we work towards the peak pose of the Splits, also known as Hanumanasana. This class includes postures that target the hamstrings, hip flexors and glutes to help you warm up for the splits.

I hope you enjoy day 17 of the challenge.

Thank for always starting the practice by warming up the wrists and ending the practice by providing ample time for savasana. Nothing feels rushed and that’s what sets you apart from other teachers.
My PT told me this week that my hip flexor and hamstring on my left side were tight and I felt it today. I can’t wait to work on it and get splits eventually.
So far I’ve done this challenge in Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina! I’m thankful that it can travel with me!

Anytime your yoga instructor can gently guide you through a half split (a pose you haven't done since you were a little girl), she's one hell - of - a teacher!! Charlie you are PHENOMENAL! Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

amazing start in the day for me! I have really sore legs from a traile run/hike yesterday. so waking up the hams and hips was really what i needed!

Day :17 is Those forearm stand and headstand quite difficult...but i will improve😃...Thank you charlie❤ take love ❤ from India 🇮🇳

Gratitude to the teacher. Splits are something I have to very patient with. My hips aren't opening up very quickly so to have a headstand split was not something that I thought was possible. Thank you.

Today i have practiced this class. I started a bit late to this challenge cos of my trip. How much i enjoy and how i progress i can’t express with words. I love you and your yoga classes Charlie. Thank you Charlie for this super peak flow practice. I'm grateful for your tuition and teaching, I managed deeper in the splits than I've ever managed and my tripod headstand was definitely more stable even with the addition of splits. I couldn't have achieved this without your guidance. 😊 🙏

Dear Charlie, thank you again! Today I once again appreciated how well structured your challenge is. If there was no day 16, day 17 woukd be much bigger struggle and it would probably keave me frustrated. But although I don't get even near to split, and for health issues cannot even try the headatand properly, I got much closer to both poses then I thought possible. Last time (at 40) when I was trying to work towards split, I was so eager that I ruptured a tendon, so I have been a bit shy trying it with full force, but within your practice I felt safe and it felt so good! Thank you for teaching me that although it is great to push myself, I should not push too hard and be more mindful to the signals my body is giving me. And perhaps this is the most important thing to learn.🙂❤️🍀.

This challenge was really fun! Loved practicing on Splits (Left side feels so stiff compared to the Right side), Pincha and Sirsasana with splitsy legs 😍 Thank you so much for the lovely guidance, build up and of course this class 💖

First time I’ve attempted a front split headstand so that was interesting. I got into the strongest pincha I’ve ever had at the wall. Still gotta work on confidence and moving away from the wall but I’m pleased. Thank you!

Thank you for this amazing feeling in the body❤I didn’t cope with splits, but towards headstand I could lift one leg!for me it’s a great achievement

I did a kettlebell workout with front squat and split squats after self care yesterday and today was a great stretch for my quadriceps went almost in full split and touched the wall in tripod with one leg. Feeling good thx❤😊❤.
