- Fall damage isnt really a thing in this game, you can yeet urself of high mountains and barely take dmg, also you can very easily run along the mountains when going downhill.
- To reset your hook if you miss a catch use leftclick and it immediately comes back to you so u dont have to jump into the water the entire time.
- WOOD is the essence of life in this game.

The editorial captioning is wrong about the effect of foundation armor. Foundation armor makes it so the shark does not attack those foundation pieces, rendering them functionally unbreakable (unless you go at them with an axe). Once you've armored the entire exterior of your raft the shark stops attacking entirely.

If you get into farming put a ceiling over your crops and that will solve the seagull problem.
Bad news is the nest only give you feathers. You get eggs from the chickens, which you capture with the net launcher.
The debris field goes with the current.

My man gets a chest with four hinges and three planks in it, and his response is "OMG YES PLANKS!!!!" without even acknowledging the hinges. I don't know how to feel about this since my storage room is unbelievably massive and I feel like I still need more chests in it, and metal is very valuable while planks are everywhere, lol.
