Why hasnt a cruise company stepped up yet and parked a ship off shore to act as housing for displaced families and emergency workers?? Surely its as good or even a better option than hotels....

I am so sick and tired of the media covering former president Trump. We need a new leader in the republican party. I think should cover the other republican presidential contenders like Larry Elders and Tim Scott. The republicans need to do more to reach out to black republicans.

My Condolences to OUR FELLOW CITIZENS on the ISLAND.
REBUILD the city with NEW TECHNOLOGY!
Carbon fiber streets and roads, solar panels, EV cars. Make the city a WONDERFUL VISION!, at the same time, MAINTAINING THE CULTURE OF THE ISLAND!
IN MY PRAYERS!

The fact that you guys cover this drunk guy like he's a star instead of a four-time indicted treasonous criminal, shows that you're complicit in his actions and supportive and therefore thereby giving I think harbor and aid to his cause. you guys have the ability to let the world know exactly what this criminal did and you're showing him with his fists in the air instead of his mugshots like you do anybody else instead of the least flattering picture you can find like you do anybody else

If you had Gavin Newsom agreeing to run/or on the ticket as VP as the"spare heir"you would have few problems winning next election.

A little history of Lahaina...King Kamehameha made Lahaina his Royal Residence after he unified the Hawaiian islands. He selected Lahaina to be near Kihawahine, who lived on an island in the middle of a fish pond who is the guardian spirit of his wife Keopuolani. Under King Kamehameha, Lahaina was the Capital of the newly unified Kingdom of Hawaii until Kamehameha III relocated it to Honolulu. American colonization and capitalism changed Lahaina forever. Sugarcane companies diverted the waters that fed the fishpond and fresh water springs for irrigation, which caused the fishpond to dry out. Today, it's a public park.

YES!!!! this was a failure in preparedness!!! fire started in the afternoon and we knew the wind was coming days ahead of time!! And Maui is NOTORIOUS for fire & drought in the summer. For goodness sake even the fire hydrants in Lahaina were low or out of water. This is a shameful disgrace! Prayers to Maui!
