Nice video Dave! One more related tip/shortcut that I would add is how the frame may be added to a note's text: one option is to add the @[ TEXT @] as you've showed in the video. another option may be to use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+[" , this combination can be used when you open the frame and another time pressed after you types the text that should be framed, to closed the frame. You can also select a text that should be framed with a box in the editing mode of a 3D note (by double clicking the note on the screen in 3D) and apply the frame to it using Ctrl+[

The timing of this video is very appropriately, as we are just exploring hole notes now in our department. Unfortunately the countersink and counterbore parameters/dimensions do not get included in the automatically generated hole note, which seems like a glaring oversight in the hole functionality.

We are also still on Creo 7, which has a bug in which the thread depth of the automatic hole note does not accurately reflect the model dimensions. This was fixed in 8.0.3.0 but we are out of luck on 7.

Such promising functionality, but unfortunately is practically unusable to us. It will be awhile before we upgrade from 7.

Good video as always!
