Do I plan on buying more gym equipment? nope.
Do I plan on upgrading? Nope.
Do I still watch the video to support Gluck? Yup.

This is truly a struggle for guys like myself. I want to support US made but also want a realistic cable system...

Everyone needs a 3x3. The flexibility with accessories and thus the available exercises makes it great and they don’t cost that much more. I’ve had Rogue in the past on smaller racks but went Rep this time because Rogue apparently can’t design a simple lat pull-down like Rep. I absolutely love my PR5000 and don’t regret it one bit.

REP PR 5000 squad checking in. Love it besides the nameplate on my 80 inch version smoking the back of my bald head after reracking a squat. Great video y’all!

I chose Rogue as I also had both. TBH either would have sufficed, especially now with all the cable options REP offers. Both also have trade offs (Rogue a bit wide to squat, REP a bit narrow to bench). All in all, it's great to have the options we have.

Rep. Only thing Rogue has going for it is that it’s American made but with the ares, Athena and selectorized lat low row they’re blowing Rogue out the water.

Rogue and REP rack prices seem close at face value but once you figure shipping the Rogue cost hundreds more while REP is free shipping.

Glad you mentioned Rogue's taller uprights.

We going straight from innuendo to vg references, nice

There is also the location to factor in. If near either facility you can save big bucks by picking up. Rep 10-15% or avoid rogue shipping fees. That's what swayed me to rep initially.

Great comparison. I think this will be an even tighter race when you have BOS releasing their Manticore 1" line. It will no longer be a toss up between cheaper metric or expensive true 3x3 1" attachments. A very clever move, and I wonder if they'll push more US based companies to switch from metric to imperial.

I was going to say Gluck seems to be slowly going insane over time but I think it's more accurate to say that he has been on the fringe of insanity for a long time now.

I’ve been waiting for this exact review! Still leaning more towards Rep. You mentioned the PR4000 having updated hole spacing, can you talk more about that? I’ve seen pictures of both and was just super confused on how people had racks with so many holes and westside. Thanks Gluck!

Rogue. The 90" was just right for my space and the Gun Metal color is exactly me. I wish some of the attachments were a bit cheaper, but...gotta stay in business, I guess. I do like the cable options REP is putting out. Wish Rogue would do the same, but, I'm figuring I'd have to take a second mortgage to pay for it.

I wonder if rep is upgrading their monos. It would be nice to see people talk about those more. So many rep reviewers yet not much on the monos

Team REP here 🤚 But since my gym is in my basement, it kinda made the decision easy lol (low ceilings). I kinda wish I could drop in my Rhino though 😕

Holy Crap!!!! Literally reading my mind as I was looking between Rep and Rogue today. I got another 1k towards my rack to spend…..so looking to pull the trigger.

We all need a 3x3 rack, so we can squat 1500 pounds. Seriously, I sold my Rogue RML-690C to get a Rep Fitness PR5000/Ares. I have the Rogue monster land mine and monolifts on my PR5000.
