This is one of my 70’s favorite songs and I love it even more with one of my favorite Country’s singers Tim McGraw!

Tim obviously doesn't see these particular comments, but... I lost my Daddy unexpectedly five days before I turned 27. This is the song that makes me think of him. He would play 45's for his little girl until she fell asleep, carry her to bed, tuck her in and kiss her with his scratchy mustache on her face. Stupid to share, I'm sure. But I can still see this record spinning around and hearing Randy's beautiful voice. This is amazingly done. Xoxo

This is making me cry, remembering Randy.
He was inspired to write "Just When I Needed You Most" by two events: his old car, that he loved and used for years, broke down on his way to work in Denver, Colorado, and he experienced a "devastating" breakup with a girlfriend.
