When Teddy spoke of the presence of Beterbiev, I felt it through the screen. When Teddy trained Gvodzyk and lost to Beterbiev by TKO, he said the presence was like that of a great white shark in the ocean. You must come willing to die and kill. If not, Beterbiev will finish you, because that's what he brings into the ring, 100% of the time, at 200% intensity. Inoue has the same thing. Your guts feel mortified and your knees start shaking, and the only way not to crumble is to send it back with deathly intentions.

Bivol has the emotional strength and discipline to deal with it but if his body can't withstand Beterbiev's power, Beterbiev will win.

Beterbiev is a master of cutting off the ring.
He is a complete boxer with devastating power, a good counter puncher, and has very good footwork. Artur is a beast; as the fight progresses, he gets stronger. The pillow-fisted Bivol cannot withstand the pressure and power of Beterbiev. The moment he feels the pain, he will hesitate to throw punches and become more defensive, running like a chicken. Beterbiev will continue to smash him until he gets stopped in the later rounds. No one knows Bivol until he defeats the flat-footed, smaller Canelo.
Beterbiev has already fought hundreds of (Soviet-style boxing) matches, the same style that Bivol, Gvozdyk, Usyk, and Lomachenko use.

Artur Beterbiev—no alcohol, no drugs, no crazy parties, and super discipline. He lives the healthiest life, steadfast in his faith, and never stops learning more.

It's a pick um fight, it's either a stoppage by Beterbiev, or Bivol might get a decision if he can hold out. Good fight either way. God willing no one gets hurt bad.

Boy I keep going back and forth on this one, but I think I'm picking Beterbiev for one reason, one good punch from him can change the fight, similar to the way Marciano did that with Walcott. Bivol has to keep on his game every minute of every round up with Betebiev, however Beterbiev only needs one well placed punch, which he has the ability to deliver, and can change the whole fight. Unless there's some kind of last minute news, Beterbiev is my pick, either by KO or TKO.

EPIC fight on paper anyway. Biggest light heavy fight Better Ward/Kovalov my opinion Logically I see Bivol by decision or Beterbiev by late KO but could see Artur getting a knockdown and getting decision. Never seen Bivol hurt though. Bivol beat Canelo MUCH wider than idiotic corrupt score cards Can't wait Sat 6 EST

I agree with the fight of the century skill wise ! Let's be honest no middleweight is beating no light heavy weight and most light heavyweight are more likely to out box a heavyweight! 2 undefeated fighters ! Potential fight of this century

Normally, I'd pick Beterbiev because he's a pressure fighter with a solid punch. He can set a pace that Bivol may have difficulty keeping up with. However, because Beterbiev cuts so easily now, I'm taking Bivol by stoppage due to cuts.

I'm picking Bivol the younger man (32) over the older man (39) in Beterbiev.... Age and Father time you can't beat.... This Unification fight has come at a late stage in his life unfortunately. Time to pass the Baton to the next in line and fresher of the two!.... Look, Beterbiev is strong like an Ox and got a rod like Jab, is the pressure fighter, he got good ring generalship, he breaks you down & is the Knock out Artist of the two. Despite that he is much older, slower of the two, cuts easily, has had injuries and operations coming off one. All those factors go against him.... Bivol on the other hand, uses jab effectively, can box, good mover and footwork, fresher, younger and will neutralise Beterbiev one dimensional come forward style.... I love both fighters but it's either gonna be a late round Knock out for Beterbiev or Points win for Bivol which I think is more likely unless somehow Bivol overwhelms him to a stoppage which is unlikely.

Old Teddy hates Beterbiev so much because Artur knocked out Gvozdyk, destroyed him physically and mentally, and the nail got retired after the fight. He took so much damage. We know that Teddy previously trained Gvozdyk. 😂
