Belladonna's Coffeeshop [ BUMBLBY Fanimation ]

"Yang heard from her sister Ruby about a new coffee shop that opened recently! She decides to check it out and ends up meeting someone special."

THis was my first attempt at creating a short with a completely tradition anime feel, while still in 3d. I used a lot of the same timing and animation techniques that might be used in 2d work. I think it's not bad for a first go!

This was cute and heartwarming and I can see this happing in the end of the series of cannon Yang walking into the coffee shop and seeing Blake again after 5 years and Ruby and Weiss married.

0:27 I dunno why but Ren strangely doesn’t look like “Ren” here. He somehow looks like a completely different character recoloured to match his colours. It might be due to the different hair and uncharacteristically cutesy facial expression.
