Flying the latest Qatar Airways 787-9 business suite [is it as good as QSuites?]

In this video we fly in business class with Qatar Airways on their brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from Doha to Oslo. This aircraft features their latest business class suite complete with closing door, but is it the latest and greatest? Or is it a downgrade from the majestic QSuite that they're famous for? What upsets a lot, is paying for Qsuite a crazy amount of money, and having a plane change at the end with one of the rubbish configurations they are offering on some planes. It makes one to not to fly again with them.

I tried both but could not see a so big difference between standard business and QSuite, maybe because I flown QSuite at night time. They are all very nice business classes both

As a passenger you can order any drink regardless what class your flying on any, airlines.

It’s definitely hard to compare anything to a Qsuite seat, but this business class seat looks pretty good! ✈️

Great film Gabriel, enjoyed that.
I'll be flying the Qatar A330-300 from Bangkok to Doha.
Then the Boeing 787-8 from Doha back to Manchester soon.
Both business class. Any thoughts about those seats?
I've recently flown in the Q Suites on the A777-300 which were brilliant.
But the flight from DOH-BKK I flew on the large A380 upstairs.
The business seats were nowhere near as good or as private as the Q Suites.
Also, have Qatar got any plans to reconfigure the A380 upstairs business class seats?
For some of the flight I sat at the bar area in the middle upstairs and was the only one in the bar area, for a good hour or so. Hardly anyone used the bar. Seemed like a waste of excellent premium space to me. Plus the waitress/air steward was at the bar the whole time. I'm sure her time could have been spent doing something more productive.
Anyhow, keep up the good work, best wishes from me here.

Very nice experience, but seems like perhaps the cleaners didn't do a great job @4:41 ? Or perhaps the spill happened after they cleaned the plane ?
I notice these things because once upon a time, early in my aviation career I actually cleaned aircraft with an airline.
We tried to make them as clean as possible in incredibly short periods of time during turnarounds. We did a great job. People underestimate what a tough job it is to be an aircraft cleaner...sick bags and a lot more.
I then moved on to another job, but a few years later noticed that the cleaning got much worse after they outsourced the cleaning to a large company. These shysters are always about cutting costs and delivering a minimum of quality. In-house staff are invariably more highly motivated to make their own airline the best.
