My god, this is by far the easiest to follow tutorial I've seen, and leaves you feeling like you can do so much by the 5 minute mark.
Seeing how simple it is to get started leaves me very motivated and hopeful! Awesome beginner tutorial, thank you!
Edit: there was one part about 3 minutes in where you started creating the wing shape that left me confused, but a quick google on what you said about editing solved that for me.

You're very good at this, making it look so easy. So I gave it a go, and finding even the very basics of simply rotating the camera around the character to be way more difficult than it looked.. I guess knowing the basics of Blender is necessary.

Uh so I think i figured out how to draw what i did is go to edit mode and i selected the whole square. Then right clicked and selected merge vertices at center. After, I clicked g to move it wherever i wanted and after that i just clicked e and started drawing

when i pull up the pallete and i did all the steps it wont show up the color. it keeps it at white even when i put it at a dark and other colors. Please Help!
