Kirby’s adventures continue in Dream Land!

The tough puff Kirby is back for a 4-player* platforming adventure. Copy enemies’ abilities and use their power to attack with a sword, wield a whip, and float with a parasol. You can also laser blast with the new Mecha Copy Ability that makes a series debut! The extra muscle will be handy in finding missing pieces for Magolor’s ship, which crash landed on Planet Popstar.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe arrives on 2/24/23.

I was just telling myself that we were needing a new Kirby game.

This is it. Tied with Super star Ultra, this is my favorite installment in the franchise. If forgotten land brought you into the series, I HIGHLY recommend this game for every reason possible. The gameplay, the length, the difficulty, the LOOOORE, the bosses, and the music all come together in what is possibly a top five game for me. Give it a shot!

I like how they took the time to remaster the cutscenes too, HAL will forever be the best company for this franchise

- K64 finally gets (official) recognition as it is put on Nintendo Switch online
- We get a whole concert and interactive website structured like it's own mini game to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series
- Right Back at Ya gets a physical Blu-Ray release
- The Kirby Time story book series is given a worldwide translation
- We get a new eShop party game

And now this. 2022 is the year of Kirby and you *cannot* convince me otherwise.

And it just keeps on going. A Game Award _and_ a Tetris 99 event? HAL's been cooking like crazy this year.

Taking into account this game's plot, I guess you could say this was the CROWNING moment of the Direct for Kirby fans

This makes me so unbelievably overjoyed, Return to Dream Land was such a huge comeback for the Kirby Franchise back then, and this looks so goddamn good; really glad that HAL Laboratories is going all out for Kirby's 30th Anniversary!

If HAL Labs ever makes a Robobot 2.0, I will IMPLODE, Robobot is easily my favorite game ever

Kirby fans are eating incredibly good this year. I cannot believe we've been blessed by three games. Kirby's Return to Dream Land is a REALLY solid title that brought back/added a lot of features that have become staples in modern Kirby games. It also has an amazing soundtrack. Absolutely worth checking out if you've never played it before.

My favorite detail is that this art style looks like that one cancelled Kirby game that had a pop-up book aesthetic. That game ended up influencing Return to Dreamland's development! This sort of detail is what makes me proud to be a Kirby fan.

Between Magolor's presence in the new subgame and the fact that his Dream Collection games seem to be included (based on his amusement park showing up on the boxart), I like that they're expanding his role in the game.





It's going to make the ending hurt so much more.
