Codex: Adeptus Custodes Troops Preview With Some INTERESTING STUFF!

The second preview for the new Codex: Adeptus Custodes for Warhammer 40,000 is up on the community site, and I'm liking what I see. There are some cool solutions to things that I've been concerned about! What do you reckon? Like the look of it so far? Don't like it? Let me know in the comments!

Hmm... they could use a vanguard alongside, if not uber expensive the custodian models to try fill 60 points sisters of silence models to try make casts harder if knowing facing chaos or daemons

so given that the Allares Terminator custodes are using cataphractii armour, their 4++ turns to a 3++ by default, even without a storm shield. awesome.

I can't wait for them to come out, Dad sharkboi myself shall take my amazing +1STR buff aura with TH/SS and Assault melta/hurrricane Centurions and see how long the Goldenrods last.

They seem like a really interesting army that will provide a unique play style that will probably require some solid tactics

I'm looking to start a Primaris Salamanders force soon, but really like the look of the Custodes. What would you guys recommend I do in the way of detachment? Is there a case to be made for having a squad of something alongside my Salamanders? I'd probably only buy one box of Custodes so would have to choose wisely.

As someone with a low income and liking for elite armies who is a bit disappointed with Grey Knights at the moment I am making serious consideration to these guys right now. Though what worries me is that I have enough for the limited edition codex and I can't resist it.

Kiri, the custodes are all gunna be about the potential of massed jetbike abuse, no lack of movement there. In fact if they get the conventional +1 toughness for sitting on a bike then boom t6 fighty duders that move quick fast and in a hurry with big silly guns capable of overpowering flanks presuably, and best part would be twisting eldar players faces from resting smug wanker to WTfF face!
