Brother ScanNCut Tips & Tricks - Scan to Cut Data vs Direct Cut - Hugs from Shelli Paper Pumpkin Kit
Показать описание
In this video, you will learn how to cut out stamped images using the Brother ScanNCut. The Scan and Cut we will be using is the CM350 or Scan and Cut 2. You can follow this tutorial with any model of ScanNCut that you have. The stamp set I'm using is from the Hugs from Shelli May 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin' Up!
In the first part of this tutorial, I demonstrate how to use Scan to Cut Data. You would use this if you just want to scan in a stamped image and then cut it out. You can also use this if you want to resize or duplicate the stamped image. First, you scan in the image and save it. Then, you retrieve it. Then, you cut it out, resize it, etc. If you make any changes to it, you need to remember to save it again.
In the second part of the tutorial, I demonstrate Direct Cut. You would use this if you want to cut out the stamped image with an outline distance. You can even go one step further by cutting out another layer. You do this by increasing the outline distance, changing out the paper, and cutting it again. Here are the settings I recommend.
Stamped Images
Stamped in Memento Black
Very Vanilla Card Stock
Blade Depth = 5
Outline Distance = 0.04"
Outline of Birds
Perennial Essence designer series paper
Blade Depth = 3
Outline Distance = 0.08"
