No Church Around Me Really Satisfied My Spiritual Need

Anthony Grew up in a very Christian household and was very familiar with the Bible. Anthony had gone to a lot of different churches growing up but realized he needed to get his own testimony and find out what he believed.

Anthony met his best friend Regan when he was ten years old and there was just a light about him that caught his attention. After some prodding and poking, Anthony found out that Regan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Anthony then accepted a copy of the Book of Mormon and when straight to looking up how it was not true.

Anthony did this for four years and came to the conclusion that it was true but he still felt like something was missing.

Anthony had a humbling experience where God showed him that he wasn't using his faith. That changed his whole perspective on how he should study the Book of Mormon. Anthony changed from trying to prove the Book of Mormon wrong, to trying to prove the Book of Mormon true. This really softened Anthony's heart and helped him find his testimony of the Book of Mormon.

Anthony testifies that no one has shrunk below the bounds of Jesus Christ's reach. That everyone can be forgiven and he will manifest his love through the spirit to all of us.

I agree with you that that the Lord is willing to give us what we need, maybe not everything we want, for in His wisdom, He knows the difference. I hear you Brother I picked up the Book of Mormon with real intent for the first time when I was 28 years old. It took me 5 days to read it on the last day when I read Moroni’s promise the spirit bore witness to me that it was true. That was 30 years ago and I’ve tried to stay on the covenant path ever since. I wish everybody would pick the book up and read it with real intent so we could all come back to our Heavenly Father 🤗
