I think the eclectic view is the humble way to go and I agree. I think eschatology matters and I’m so glad to find a church like North Avenue that goes through the scriptures faithfully and with humility. Thank you

I agree, it is a symbolic view of what happened, happens and will happen.

I see the 7 churches in Revelation as symbolism of 7 aspects within man that must be overcome. ❤

hello fellas.... so glad you had talked about that gap church-raptured issue. whenever i hear that from those teachers.. especially this Famous Jack HIbbs always mentions this yet they All Never explain their position why this is so. It is always, so sick of it, assumed and never no clarifications. Its stupid sorry to say this here. It is so annoying to hear this. and to make it worse, alll these church members hear it over and over without thinking for themselves as to does that make sense!! Send and Signified is the key phrase that is so sadly and ignorantly forgotten. Sent and Signified it. Semeion. Thank you guys. May the Lords' Spirit help you during these teachings of this Precious book.

There is no second coming its already been fulfilled you just don't except was is said for eg
Jas 5:7-8 ISV 7 So be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious crop from his land, being patient with it until it receives the fall and the spring rains. 8 You, too, must be patient. Strengthen your hearts, because the coming of the Lord is near.
NEAR MEANS NEAR!

The challenge of interpreting scripture is far lesser when you stop using your imagination and start using hermenuetics. When you stop using doctrinal biases to interpret scripture and start letting scripture interpret itself. Unfortunately that is not what is happening here.

Dear Brothers

Firstly, I love you because you love our Lord and Savior Jésus-Christ ❤
Your position about Eschatology is interesting. We see that you try to understand the Bible in a direct and simple manner, which is often the good way !

There would be a lot of remarks to be made, but only two hereafter.

1. When you try to summarize the position of someone else or a different point of view, be careful. When you say e.g. that Mc Arthur / the dispensionalism put the whole history of the church (maybe after the 1st century) and the rapture between chapters 3 and 4 of Revelation, this is not correct ! In fact, in dispensionalism, the whole church time is represented in the 7 churches of chapters 2 and 3, and the rapture occurs at the beginning of chapter 4, because John is invited to come up in heaven. Please note that the voice sounds as it were of a trumpet ! Interesting, isn't it ?

"Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter".

2. There is at least a clear time separation in Revelation, and this is in the above-mentioned verse: And I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

God bless you
