I've got a 12 Mini and absolutely love it. I've gone smaller ever year the past few. XS Max > 11 Pro > 12 Mini. We've hit the perfect size finally.

I intentionally got an iPhone 12 mini because I like for my phone not to get in the way when it’s in my pocket. I upgraded from an SE that served me very well since 2017.

As a dude that commutes, sits in conference rooms at work, has a toddler, has an iPad for bed surfing, the mini really is the best option hands down. Actually ditched my 12 pro for it - that thing is heavy.

I hope apple continues to include the mini model going forward. I went with the 12, pretty much because of my own inability to remain patient for the delayed mini release and also for worries about the battery. But I constantly wish I went with the mini instead. If a 13 has a mini model I will most likely go with that.

I agree with your point. Also, I love my 12 mini! There is one misconception about battery life in 12 mini though. For the person, like me, who wants a mini phone today battery life is more of an afterthought. I mean nobody gonna use an iPhone mini the way he would have used the regular or the Pro! It’s not for gaming or watching full seasons on Netflix or shooting 4k 60fps for hours at a time… it all about getting the job done! See my emails, checking social media, listening to Podcasts or Apple Music all day long, answer some calls or taking a dozen of photos left me constantly wit 50-60% at the end of the day. Still, for heavier use there are plenty of wireless chargers everywhere or you can buy the fast charger brick (a already had one from my iPad). So, there’s nothing wrong about 12 mini itself, the issues dames down to 1) bad timing and 2) people are getting used to “bigger is better” marketing…

Just switched my secondary phone from the X to the 12 Mini and loving it so far. I use it for maybe an hour a day so battery life is a non-issue for me :)

I have been wanting to jump from my Galaxy S10 to an iPhone for the past couple of months. I have the iPad Air (2020), Macbook Pro (2018)... I've entered the ecosystem and I can see why people love it. Between my Macbook and iPad... It makes sense for everything to seamlessly connect. You've convinced me to wait until the 13's get released.

My friend received an iPhone 12 mini as a buy one get one free promo and he didn’t want it so I purchased it for $550. This included $130 of accessories such as case, screen protector and charger. I came from an iPhone XS Max and I absolutely love it.
